Title: The Family That Plays Together…
Characters/Pairings: Chrome/Gokudera, Yamamoto/Gokudera
Summary: Rule number one: Never take your eyes off the Mist.
Notes: Smut comma nothing but, to the tune of a Vongola orgy. …what? I asked for prompts on Tumblr a little while back, thirtysixsavefiles gave me Gokudera/anyone and "choice" and apparently the way that worked out in my head was Tsuna choosing not to choose.

The Tenth is the only reason it works, and that's because Tsuna doesn't know how to give up on anything. Or anyone. And when it's the Tenth asking, somehow everyone just seems to end up going along with it one way or another in the end. )

I've been looking at my folder for Works In Progress and have concluded that some of them are never actually going to be finished, generally because I had a neat idea, wrote a scene or two that fulfilled whatever yen I had in the first place, and then never felt particularly compelled to finish the rest. (It's all to do with how I write: I write to find out what happens next, so if I figure that out in too much detail, I no longer feel all that fussed about writing it down.)

So here are some things that I will never actually finish writing, edited up a bit, with closing notes that summarize roughly what would have happened in the rest of the fic, had I finished it. Caveat lector, dear readers: these are things that I am laying to rest because I will not be finishing them.

Characters: Fuuta, Reborn, Bianchi, Gokudera, Yamamoto, Tsunako
Summary: In which Tsunako gives Fuuta a delightful new research project.
Notes: Continuing the re-imagining of the Daily Life arc from Fuuta's point of view. Mafia politics, strategic regurgitation, and genderswap. Part of Choice: The Betrothal Arc. Series Index. General audiences. 4403 words.

In the end, the Family left it to him to decide whether he would go or leave the task to another, and Fuuta chose to go himself. )

Characters: Dino, Romario, Reborn, Bianchi, Yamamoto, Kyouko, Gokudera, Tsunako

Dino stared at the name on his phone's display with a sense of deep apprehension before he could bring himself to answer, because Reborn had an unerring sense for the best ways to puncture a man's ego. )

Title: Winning Ways
Characters/Pairings: Tsuna/Xanxus; Yamamoto, Gokudera

lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
Title: The Domestication of Yamamoto Takeshi
Characters/Pairings: Yamamoto, Tsuna, Squalo, Gokudera, Hibari
Summary: Everyone seems to think he's lost his mind, but Yamamoto has never felt so sane.
Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] andreaphobia. Adult for smut. Shameless domesticity. 12,485 words.

The spring he turns thirty-four, Yamamoto Takeshi buys a house. )
lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
Title: Balance Point
Pairings: Tsuna/Yamamoto/Gokudera

lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
Title: A Year in the Life: Haru
Characters: Haru, Reborn, Bianchi, Yamamoto, Kyouko, Gokudera, Tsunako
Summary: In which Tsunako gives Haru a new pattern to think about.

Sometimes Haru wondered whether it was all right to be in middle school and already bored with life. )
lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)

Summary: Dogs are simple: all they want is to love and be loved. Cats are more complicated. And also crazy.
Notes: General audiences. Cracked-out cat!AU fluff. No, really. 11166 words.

Takeshi thinks of himself as a dog person, not a cat person. )
lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
Title: Winning Streak

          or will I say
Roll over and let me fuck you till you puke, Henry, you owe me this much, you can indulge me
this at least, can’t you?

Also submitted for [community profile] ladiesbigbang, with the consequent result that the ever-marvelous [personal profile] esmenet put together a fanmix, Let Them Eat Cake for this fic. Go and check it out, because it's awesome!

The one problem, if it was a problem, was that Tsunako-chan went around so much with Yamamoto-kun and Gokudera-kun these days that it was next to impossible to get a word with her privately, which was something Kyouko dearly wanted to do. )
lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
In which there are vampires and hunters and watchers and humans, Yamamoto Takeshi is more than a little bit crazy, and Gokudera Hayato is caught in between a whole bunch of loyalties and duties.

Bloodsport: Gokudera knows that this can't possibly end well.

Blood Debt: Squalo is going to owe him for this.

Under Cover of Darkness: The last memories of the man are of these things: agony and defeat.

Nail in My Hand: It's going to take him a while to put himself back together.

Rules of Conduct: It's time Yamamoto began to learn the rules.

Best Served Cold: Squalo contemplates the vengeance he's planning.

Stillness in a Curl of Steam: Hibari contemplates the mess that is his fledgling.

Happily Ever After: A series of linked shorts that follows Gokudera, Yamamoto and Tsuna after the end.
lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
Choice: The Betrothal Arc

In which Tsuna isn't Tsuna but Tsunako, and lived with her parents in Italy for a few years before circumstances made moving to Namimori seem advisable. And changes spiral out from there. For the [livejournal.com profile] khrfest prompt Xanxus/Tsuna - genderswap; "don't look down on me because I'm a woman."

Note: This arc doesn't take canon developments from the manga after chapter 282 into consideration and uses the set of guardians for the Ninth from other versions of Choice; if OCs bother you, well... they're mostly peripheral to the action, I promise.

First Meetings: This is what happened the first time Xanxus and Tsunako met.

Matchmaker: In which the Ninth is almost out of options. But not quite.

Drive a Bargain: In which the Ninth finds his mislaid spine and drives a bargain with Squalo.

Betrothal by Fiat: Sit down, princess, Daddy has something to discuss with you.

First Impressions: It behooves home tutors to discuss pedagogical strategies with one another.

Dying Will: In which Tsunako experiences her own Dying Will for the first time.

But Not Both: You can have one of the other; you can't have both.

Got Your Back: Every mafia princess needs a bodyguard. Or two.

Shoot It Out: Sometimes it's satisfying to just put a hole, or ten, in something.

Reconsiderations: In which Bianchi and Reborn reconsider their lesson plans.

Thaw: In which the Ninth thaws Xanxus out.

A Year in the Life: In which Tsunako gathers up a Family of her own.

Delegation: It's important for a leader to know how to delegate.

Reunion: In which Squalo is reunited with his boss.
lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
Title: Counterbalance
Pairing: Hibari, Gokudera, Yamamoto
Summary: In the suppression of one sense, the others sometimes become sharper.
Notes: For [personal profile] anruik's prompt "Anyone/Yamamoto – blindfold." You may blame [livejournal.com profile] andreaphobia for who the "anyone" ended up being. Adult for smut (and how!), blindfolds, and restraints. Seek ye plot elsewhere. 2158 words.

Takeshi can't see a thing, not even the edges of light around his eyelids or seeping in under the edges of the scarf tied around his eyes. )
lysapadin: pen & ink painting of bamboo against a full moon (Default)
Title: Wild Justice
Characters/Pairings: Tsuna/Kyouko; Gokudera/Haru; Chrome, Mukuro, I-Pin
Summary: Most people assume that Kyouko's really nice. They're mistaken: she's simply polite. And there's a huge difference between "nice" and "polite."
Notes: Teen and up. A hugely belated fic for round four of [livejournal.com profile] khrfest, prompt III-17: Kyoko – Haru is killed by a rival family, Kyouko doesn't take it lying down; "Fly away/ Take control / Beyond the edge will make you whole." Character death, angst, Kyouko being a badass. Kind of a grim AU to "They Also Serve". 8801 words.

There was no pleasure in having been proved right after all. )
