Mukuro is such a tricky, tricky person. Every time someone thinks they have a handle on him, he goes and defies their expectations.

And yes, that part about Xanxus screaming--perhaps I'm giving him too much credit, but I really want to believe that there's a part of him that does care for the Ninth, somewhere, even if he can't bring himself to admit it. That's what I was going for here, in any case.
