Hello, all.
This journal's content is officially filtered automatically to the "Contains Adult Concepts" level, which means that anyone whose profile information says they are under the age of fourteen will now be unable to see most of my entries. Grant you, this journal has always contained adult concepts. This just makes it all official for LJ.
Any entry that contained smut is now filtered to "Explicit Adult Content" which means your journal must state that your age is at least eighteen. I am using the subtextual definition for "explicit adult content"--that is, I've marked everything that contains smut, because in the classic USonian mode, we are afraid of smut while we embrace violence and gore. But that, my goslings, is a soapbox for another day.
Please note that your journal age is the original age that you plugged in when you created your account, so editing your profile now may be useless to you (unless you didn't plug in a date, in which case, may I suggest using 1900? It's such a nice round number...).
And, in honor of LJ/6A's decision to implement content flagging, I have created a new tag.
*reminiscent* I remember a time when I insisted, vehemently, that I simply couldn't write smut and never would be able to do it well. Ah, how things change, eh?
On a final note, I would mention that all of my fanworks, including the one or two that are simply too hot for LJ to handle, are hosted on my website. But shhhhh, you didn't hear that from me, since linking to offensive offsite material is a banning offense around here.
